Hajnóczy Cave, Protected cave in Cserépfalu, Hungary
The limestone cave stretches 4250 meters in length and reaches a depth of 81.3 meters within the Bükk National Park territory.
Students from Tiszaföldvár High School discovered the cave in 1971 while exploring a narrow entrance marked as a fox hole near Odor-vár mountain.
The cave bears the name of József Hajnóczy, an 18th-century Hungarian jurist and reformist who influenced national legal development.
The entrance measures 1 meter high and 0.5 meters wide, located 140 meters southwest of Odorvár peak at 460 meters above sea level.
The cave contains multiple chambers with formations including the Dance Room, Wonder Chamber, and Grand Canyon section with steep limestone walls.
