BITS Hyderabad is an engineering college spanning 200 acres in the Shameerpet area of the city. The campus has modern laboratories, lecture halls, and instructional facilities designed for undergraduate and postgraduate engineering programs.
The institute opened in 2008 as a branch of the Pilani campus in Rajasthan and admitted its first graduating class in 2012. This expansion allowed the institution to extend engineering education to southern India.
