Madhur Temple

The Madhur Temple is a Hindu sanctuary in Kasaragod district featuring traditional Kerala architecture spread across multiple courtyards. The complex displays intricate wooden carvings, pillared halls, and copper-plated roofs that reflect the classical design of this region.

The temple's origins trace to ancient times when the sage Vyasa installed the deity of Lord Ganesha and established this sacred place many centuries ago. The site has remained an important worship center in the region ever since.

The temple becomes a center of devotion during Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, when thousands of worshippers gather for processions and traditional songs. Visitors witness pilgrims making offerings here, creating an atmosphere of shared faith visible throughout the year.

The temple remains open from sunrise to sunset daily and is accessible throughout the year. Buses serve the area regularly from Kasaragod, making the location easy to reach from the city.
