Afzal Gunj Masjid

Afzal Gunj Masjid is a religious structure in Hyderabad with a three-arched front facade and two minarets positioned at the front corners of its rectangular body. Domes and decorative finials crown the minarets, defining the building's distinctive appearance.

The structure was commissioned in 1866 by the fifth Nizam of Hyderabad, Afzal-ud-Daulah, and became the city's second-largest religious building. This construction marked an important moment in Hyderabad's architectural development during Nizam rule.
