Hadish Palace, Achaemenid palace in Persepolis, Iran.
The Palace of Xerxes spans 2,550 square meters on the highest terrace level of Persepolis, featuring thirty-six columns and six surrounding chambers.
Built during the reign of Xerxes I around 500 BCE, the palace endured significant damage in 330 BCE when Alexander's forces set fire to Persepolis.
The palace displays Persian architectural elements through its stone reliefs, depicting royal ceremonies and demonstrating the power of the Achaemenid Empire.
Visitors can access the palace ruins through the main archaeological site of Persepolis, located in Marvdasht County, approximately 60 kilometers from Shiraz.
The northern portico contains preserved inscriptions in Old Persian, Elamite, and Babylonian languages, recording the royal titles of Xerxes.
