Everland is an amusement park in Cheoin-gu divided into five zones: Global Fair, Zootopia, European Adventure, Magic Land, and American Adventure. Each area features rides, gardens, and animal enclosures ranging from family attractions to high-speed roller coasters.
The site operated since the late 1970s as a garden and animal park before being transformed in 1996. The current layout developed through staged expansions and upgrades that continued for decades after.
The name combines the idea of a place that endures with the seasons, from spring flowers to summer water attractions. European Adventure recreates Alpine villages and windmills, letting visitors experience different European settings in a single location.
Direct buses run from Gangnam Station in the capital, with a journey of roughly one hour. It helps to arrive early in the day or closer to closing time to avoid the longest waits at attractions.
A wooden roller coaster operating since the early 2000s reaches speeds of about 104 kilometers per hour. This ride ranks among the longest and most visible of its kind in the region.
