Mudeungsan National Park

Mudeungsan is a national park in Gwangju with a highest peak above 1,100 meters that covers protected natural land across a wide area. The park includes multiple hiking trails and viewpoints that take visitors through forests and along rock formations.

The area was known by different names in earlier times before becoming a designated national park in 2012. This official status protected the landscape and its natural features for future generations.
