Wedding Palace, Civil registry building in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.

The Wedding Palace features a cube-topped structure with a 32-meter diameter globe displaying the map of Turkmenistan atop three-tiered white marble layers.

Turkish construction company Polimeks completed this government-commissioned building in 2011 during Turkmenistan's 20th independence anniversary celebrations.

The palace contains six marriage registration halls and three wedding celebration spaces, reflecting the central role of marriage ceremonies in Turkmen society.

The facility includes 36 shops, two cafes, a hotel with 22 rooms, beauty salons, photo studios, and underground parking for 300 vehicles.

Each entrance of the building represents a cardinal direction, while the sides form eight-pointed stars incorporating traditional Turkmen architectural elements.
