İbradı, Administrative district in Antalya Province, Turkey

The district covers 778 square kilometers of mountainous terrain in the Taurus Mountains, featuring dense forests of juniper, cedar, and pine trees.

The region was part of ancient Pisidia and later developed into an essential trade route through the Taurus Mountains during the Ottoman period.

The inhabitants of İbradı maintain strong connections to their Teke Turkmen ancestry, sharing roots with present-day Turkmen communities from Turkmenistan.

The district experiences moderate summer temperatures, reaching 30 degrees Celsius during daytime and dropping to 10 degrees Celsius at night.

The area contains numerous mountain streams that merge to form the Manavgat River, supporting the local forestry industry and goat grazing activities.
