Yakutiye Medrese, Islamic museum in Rabia Ana district of Erzurum, Turkey.
The Yakutiye Medrese features stone carvings, geometric patterns, and a central courtyard surrounded by student chambers and teaching halls.
Built in 1310 during the Ilkhanid period, the medrese served as an educational institution for teaching Islamic theology and law for several centuries.
The museum exhibits Turkish ethnographic artifacts, including traditional jewelry, copper items, weapons, seals, and coins from different regional periods.
The museum welcomes visitors daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with entrance fees collected until 4:30 PM and special rates for Turkish citizens.
The building contains a notable minaret decorated with turquoise tiles and animal figures, representing a merger of Islamic and Central Asian motifs.
