Bryan Park, Public urban park in Richmond, United States

Bryan Park extends across 262 acres of land, featuring hiking trails, gardens, open spaces, and numerous amenities for outdoor recreation and community gatherings.

Belle Stewart Bryan and her family donated the land to Richmond in 1910, establishing a green space that received National Register of Historic Places status in 2002.

The park's 17-acre Azalea Garden, established in 1952, contains 450,000 plants of 50 varieties spread across 75 garden beds, displaying peak blooms from April to May.

The park maintains daily access without entrance fees and connects to major highways through the Bryan Park Interchange at I-95, I-64, and I-195 intersections.

Robert E. Harvey, former Recreation and Parks Superintendent, dedicated 15 years to creating the extensive azalea collection with assistance from local volunteers.
