Koutloug Mourad Inak madrasa

The rectangular madrasa spans 57 by 44 meters, featuring a large courtyard with classrooms, residential quarters, and a mosque within its brick walls.

Built between 1804 and 1812, the madrasa housed 95 students by 1858, with two teachers providing instruction under the supervision of administrative staff.

Students who completed their studies received titles such as mufti and akhund after passing examinations conducted by commissions appointed by the Khan.

The madrasa contains exhibitions of local artisan products, allowing visitors to discover traditional Uzbek crafts within its historical setting.

The structure incorporates an underground water reservoir that supplied drinking water to Itchan Kala residents through an integrated distribution system.
