Murree Wildlife Park, Wildlife park in Bansra Gali, Pakistan.
Murree Wildlife Park is a conservation facility covering about 240 acres of forested land with large enclosures housing Siberian tigers, red deer, and Asian black bears. The facility includes multiple areas with different animal species and canteen services throughout.
The facility was established in 1986 by the Forest, Wildlife and Fisheries Department of Punjab as part of a national conservation initiative. It was created to protect and care for endangered animal species and promote wildlife management.
The park teaches visitors about animal conservation through direct observation of both local and foreign species in their settings. School groups often visit to learn about wildlife protection and nature.
The park is located on Ghora Gali Road and is accessible during daylight hours with multiple entry and exit points. Wear comfortable shoes as the terrain is hilly with numerous paths to explore throughout the grounds.
The park houses rare species such as Bactrian camels and chinkaras within a natural forest setting. This combination of uncommon animals and wooded surroundings makes it a special place for those interested in nature.
