Xiangshan Park, Urban park in Xinyi District, Taiwan
Xiangshan Park is a modern urban park in Xinyi District with diverse play equipment and facilities spread across a spacious green area. It offers climbing walls, slides, web structures for climbing, sports courts, and resting areas for different kinds of visitors.
The park was originally known as Zhongqiang Park and sits at the foot of Elephant Mountain. A major renovation transformed it into a modern facility with flood prevention features.
The park uses a tree frog theme in its design elements, reflecting the local ecosystem. This is particularly meaningful because tree frogs are found nowhere else in Taipei.
The park has good accessibility with wide pathways and is equipped with drinking fountains, restrooms, and covered pavilions. Visitors can also find charging stations for electronic devices in the pavilions, which is helpful for longer visits.
The children's play area features different types of swings, including dual-person swings for shared play. The equipment is surfaced with rubber material to help prevent injuries during use.
