Polaris Garden is a residential skyscraper in Taipei's Xinyi District containing 106 luxury apartments spread across 27 floors with contemporary design. The building provides residents with amenities including a swimming pool, landscaped gardens, and underground parking levels.
The Hong Kong design firm P&T Group completed construction of the building in late 2007 as part of Taipei's expansion in the Xinyi District. The project contributed to the city's growing skyline during that period of urban development.
Former Taiwan president Chen Shui-bian and business leaders like PX Mart founder Lin Ming-Hsiung selected this building as their residence.
The building is located along Xinyi Road in a central area of Taipei with good access to public transportation. The site includes multiple underground parking levels, making it convenient for visitors arriving by vehicle.
The structure incorporates a counterweight pendulum system and deep foundation piles engineered to withstand earthquakes and typhoon-force winds. These technical solutions were specifically designed for Taiwan's challenging weather and seismic conditions.
