屯原, Mountain trailhead in Renai Township, Taiwan
Tunyuan is a mountain trailhead located at approximately 2000 meters elevation in central Taiwan's high country. The site marks the endpoint of Provincial Highway 14 and serves as the starting point for the Nenggao Historic Trail West Section, which extends for 13.5 kilometers.
The area was established as a Japanese police outpost starting in 1918 and has ties to the Seediq community of Tonbara. Stone structures built during this colonial period remain visible in the landscape.
