Mischek Tower

Mischek Tower is a residential skyscraper in Vienna standing 110 meters tall across 35 floors. The building contains approximately 450 apartments in a contemporary design with underground parking facilities across four basement levels.

Construction of the tower began in 1998 and was completed in 1999, introducing a new approach to Vienna's residential architecture. This project demonstrated how contemporary high-rises could be incorporated into the urban fabric.

The building represents the evolution of urban housing in Vienna through its innovative design by architectural firm Delugan Meissl Associated Architects.

The tower is located at Leonard-Bernstein-Straße 8A with convenient access to public transportation from underground parking levels. Visitors should note that the building is residential, so viewing is from the exterior or through scheduled access.

The building employs a distinctive double-shell facade system that creates buffer spaces between the outer walls and living areas. These intermediate zones expand usable space while improving thermal performance for residents.
