Saturn Tower, Office skyscraper in Donau City, Vienna, Austria
Saturn Tower is a modern office building with square floor plans and cantilevered elements that rises 90 meters above Donau City. The 21 floors contain flexible office spaces, with each level offering areas ranging from 300 to 1500 square meters.
The tower was completed in 2004 as a collaborative project between architects Hans Hollein and Heinz Neumann. Its development was part of the broader transformation of Donau City into a modern business district.
The building takes its name from the Roman god Saturn, reflecting a local tradition of naming structures after classical deities in this part of Vienna. This naming approach shows how the neighborhood's architecture maintains a connection to ancient mythology.
The building has five basement levels and four additional parking floors for vehicles. Visitors should know this is an office building where access may be restricted to business hours and specific areas.
The top floor features a specialized skylobby that serves as an event venue with views across the entire Donau City district. This elevated location allows conferences and gatherings to take place with panoramic views of the surrounding urban landscape.
