Kab Hill, Mountain summit in Southern Bakony, Hungary
Kab Hill rises 599 meters above sea level between Úrkút and Nagyvázsony, featuring wide slopes formed by multiple basalt lava flows.
The geological formation of Kab Hill occurred during the Pliocene period when basalt erupted through Triassic limestone and dolomite substrates.
The mountain received a new addition in 2013 with the construction of the Kinizsi Pál Lookout tower, offering visitors panoramic views.
Visitors can reach the summit through a 4.8-kilometer national road, route 73114, which connects to road 7308 near Úrkút.
The mountain houses a 219-meter television tower built in 1962 and a separate 133-meter radio tower, marking its technological significance.
