Hungarian-Turkish Friendship Park, Memorial park in Csertő, Hungary

The park commemorates the 1566 Battle of Szigetvár, where Ottoman forces under Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent captured the castle after a month-long siege.
Bronze sculptures created by Turkish artist Metin Yurdanur represent both nations' historical figures, emphasizing diplomatic relations between Hungary and Turkey.
Located northeast of Szigetvár, the one-acre park remains accessible throughout the year and features a triumphal arch-style entrance gate.
A symbolic grave within the park marks the location where Sultan Suleiman's internal organs were reportedly buried following his death during the siege.
