Château Majláth, Baroque château in Bakóca, Hungary.

The château exhibits a combination of Baroque and Neoclassical architectural elements, with symmetrical wings extending from its central structure and large windows across the facade.

The Kelleméri Meltzer family constructed the château in 1720, followed by substantial modifications under the Majláth family ownership during the 1860s.

The château holds connections to notable figures, including Bishop Majláth Gusztáv Károly who was born there in 1864 and writer Fekete István who worked nearby.

The building functioned as a school and children's home until the mid-1990s, after which it transferred to private ownership and remains closed to visitors.

The structure maintains its original architectural features despite deterioration, with a central staircase and ground floor rooms that underwent renovation in 1983.
