残粒园, Classical garden in Suzhou, China

The garden spans 2,390 square meters and contains traditional elements including a rock formation, water pond, and architectural pavilions throughout its grounds.

Originally part of a salt merchant's residence from Yangzhou during the Qing Dynasty, the garden changed ownership in 1929 to painter Wu Daiqiu.

The garden's name derives from a poem by Li Shangyin, reflecting the deep connection between Chinese garden design and classical literature.

Located at 34 Zhuangjiao Bridge Lane in Suzhou, the garden remains under private ownership but maintains scheduled visiting hours from morning until evening.

The garden received official protection status as a Suzhou Cultural Heritage Site in 1998, marking its significance in local architectural preservation.
