Garden of Cultivation

The Garden of Cultivation contains 13 pavilions and 17 tablets arranged around a central Lotus Pond with traditional mountain and water features.

During the Ming and Qing dynasties, learned scholars maintained this garden as a place for intellectual pursuits and artistic expression.

The garden integrates traditional Chinese landscaping principles through carefully positioned structures, rocks, and water elements that create multiple viewing perspectives.

Visitors can explore the garden daily between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM, accessing both the eastern residential section and western garden area.

Eight carved stone stelae stand throughout the garden, containing inscriptions that document significant events and philosophical reflections from past centuries.
