Pyramid of Ameny Qemau

The Pyramid of Ameny Qemau is a smooth-sided pyramid built from mudbrick in the Giza region. Its interior features a corridor with stairs descending to a chamber that connects to a southern ramp passage.

An alabaster block inside bears hieroglyphic inscriptions in ten columns mentioning a royal name and a family member. This inscribed stone is a rare record of documented writing from that era.
