Tomb of Akhethetep, Fifth dynasty mastaba in Saqqara, Egypt.

The limestone tomb complex extends 32 meters in length, 16 meters in width, and features detailed relief carvings throughout its decorated chapel walls.

In 1903, Georges Bénédite led the excavation and transfer of the decorated chapel sections from Saqqara to the Musée du Louvre in Paris.

The interior walls display carved scenes of daily activities, including hunting, fishing, livestock breeding, sailing, and traditional banquet celebrations.

The chapel section resides in the Sully Wing of the Louvre Museum, where visitors can examine the ancient Egyptian architectural and artistic techniques.

The western wall contains a carved false door that ancient Egyptians considered a passage between the realm of the living and the deceased.
