The pyramid, constructed from limestone, stands 27.3 meters tall with a base of 31.5 meters on each side at coordinates 29.893528, 31.202861.
German archaeologist Karl Richard Lepsius documented this pyramid between 1842 and 1845, designating it as number XXIV in his comprehensive list of Egyptian structures.
The pyramid complex includes a mortuary temple with a false door, reflecting ancient Egyptian architectural practices for royal burial ceremonies and religious rituals.
The archaeological site contains multiple pyramids from the Fifth Dynasty period, requiring visitors to arrange transportation and guided tours from Cairo.
Archaeological excavations revealed fragments of alabaster vessels, copper tools, and the remains of a 23-year-old woman in the burial chamber.
