La Femme

La Femme is a women-only beach in Marina located on Egypt's northern coast, where only women and young boys can swim and sunbathe. The sandy stretch runs along the waterfront with facilities designed to serve the needs of female visitors exclusively.

The beach opened in 2005 following the success of a similar women-only venue that had proven popular in Egypt. This project marked the start of gender-specific recreational spaces designed to serve a particular community.
