Coal Cracker

Coal Cracker is a log flume water ride at Hersheypark where boats travel through water channels before descending two lift hills and taking a steep plunge. The ride guides passengers through a mining-themed landscape with several twists and unexpected drops along the way.

The ride was built in 1973 by Arrow Development and remains the park's longest-operating water attraction. This early example helped establish water rides as key features in modern amusement parks.
