Shahid Salahuddin Cantonment is an active military base in Ghatail Upazila, Bangladesh, made up of headquarters buildings, training grounds, and administrative facilities. It houses several units, among them the 19th Infantry Division, the 19th Artillery Brigade, and the 88th Ordnance Depot.
The base takes its name from Captain Salauddin Mumtaz, who was killed in 1971 during the Battle of Kamalpur, one of the key engagements of the Bangladesh Liberation War. His name was chosen to honor his sacrifice at a moment that carried great weight in the country's history.
