Jianmen Shudao National Park
Jianmen Shudao National Park, Ancient mountain pass and historical road system in Sichuan, China.
The national park contains steep mountain paths, stone walkways, and carved cliffs spanning across multiple sections of the historical Shu Road network.
The strategic mountain passages served as crucial military and trade routes during the Three Kingdoms period, connecting the regions of Sichuan and Shaanxi.
The Thousand-Buddha Cliff within the park displays numerous Buddhist carvings and the Li Bai Memorial Hall honors the Tang Dynasty poet's connection to this region.
Visitors can access the park through dedicated tourist buses departing from Jiange train station, with guided tours available between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM daily.
Glass skywalks installed along certain sections of the ancient mountain paths allow visitors to experience the historical routes from modern viewing platforms.
