Pura Dalem Pingit Sebatu

Pura Dalem Pingit Sebatu is a Hindu temple with a natural spring located in a valley near Tegallalang, where water flows over rock faces surrounded by tropical vegetation. The site consists of multiple levels with bathing areas, pools, and ritual spaces arranged around the natural spring source.

The temple has been revered by the Hindu community for generations, but the hidden spring was rediscovered by visitors in 2007 and subsequently received a formal dedication. Following this rediscovery, the location gained recognition as an official sacred site for spiritual practice.

The spring serves as a gathering place for Melukat, a Hindu purification ritual where visitors immerse themselves to cleanse their body and spirit. People from the surrounding area come here regularly to participate in this spiritual practice and connect with the sacred water.

The path to the water involves descending approximately 150 steps from the parking area, so sturdy footwear is recommended for safety and comfort. Changing facilities are available on site, and visitors can purchase traditional offerings from local vendors to enhance their experience.

Local observers report unusual changes in water clarity when certain individuals come into contact with it. These phenomena are interpreted by some visitors as signs of the spiritual power of the place.
