Tibumana Waterfall, Natural waterfall in Bangli, Indonesia.

Tibumana is a waterfall in Bangli where water flows down a straight rock face into a deep pool surrounded by dense tropical vegetation in the Apuan area. The setting is simple and natural, with the cascade and surrounding greenery forming the main features.

The name Tibumana comes from an ancient Balinese word 'Tibu', meaning deep water pools formed naturally by river movements. This naming reflects how the Balinese understood their landscape over time.

Local residents come here to perform melukat, a Balinese purification ritual that has been part of community life for generations. You can see this sacred practice woven into the daily rhythm of the surrounding villages.

Visitors reach the waterfall by walking along a paved pathway that starts from the parking area and is straightforward to navigate. An entrance fee is collected at the gate, so bringing Indonesian cash is necessary.

During periods of high water flow, the cascade splits into two parallel streams, creating a natural water curtain effect against the stone wall. This splitting is not permanent and depends heavily on rainfall and seasonal changes.
