Karaikandeswarar temple, Kanji

Karaikandeswarar temple is a Hindu place of worship in Tiruvannamalai district featuring detailed stone carving and sculptural work. The Dravidian architectural style displays mythological figures adorning walls and pillars throughout the complex.

This sanctuary was constructed as one of seven religious structures along the Cheyyar river and later completed with masonry work by Se.Ve.Venketaraman chettiyar. This development established it as a significant site within the river system.
