Sant'Anna dei Lombardi, Renaissance church in central Naples, Italy.

Sant'Anna dei Lombardi is a Renaissance church in central Naples featuring a rectangular floor plan with ten lateral chapels. The interior spaces throughout are adorned with Renaissance sculptures and paintings.

The church was founded in 1411 by Gurello Orilia, protonotary of King Ladislaus of Durazzo. Royal patronage from Alfonso I of Aragon and his court later shaped its development and decoration.

The Piccolomini Chapel displays Tuscan artistic traditions through works by Giuliano da Majano and Benedetto da Majano, representing an important chapter in Naples' artistic evolution. Visitors encounter here the hands of these master craftsmen in every corner.

Opening times vary throughout the week, so it's worth checking before your visit. The central location in the old city makes it easy to combine with nearby sights.

The sacristy contains frescoes by Giorgio Vasari, one of the great masters of his era, combined with elaborate Renaissance wooden furnishings. The underground chamber below serves as a traditional crypt.
