The architectural firm WOHA designed this vertical garden building in 2016, introducing a new approach to sustainable urban architecture in Singapore.
Interior designer Patricia Urquiola incorporated Singapore's multicultural identity through the selection of materials, patterns, and textures throughout the hotel spaces.
Located near Tanjong Pagar MRT station, the hotel provides direct access to Singapore's Central Business District and includes three swimming pools and a fitness center.
The building's red aluminum mesh facade hosts 21 species of climbing plants that create natural insulation and reduce energy consumption.
