Sizerville State Park

Sizerville State Park is a forested area covering 386 acres in the region, featuring six creeks and five loop trails that wind through the woods. The park includes camping facilities and recreational areas set among the trees.

Established in 1924, this state park takes its name from the Sizer family, early settlers who lived in the surrounding area. The naming choice honors their role in developing the region.

The Environmental Education Building displays exhibits about regional wildlife and plant life, welcoming visitors to learn through guided tours. Educational programs run year-round for those wanting to understand the natural surroundings.

The park offers 23 camping sites equipped with electrical connections, shower facilities, and proper toilet infrastructure for visitors staying overnight. A sanitary dump station is also available for those with recreational vehicles.

The park connects to an extensive network of snowmobile trails that expand winter recreational opportunities for visitors seeking outdoor adventures. Native brown trout inhabit Cowley Run, making this creek notable for fishing enthusiasts.
