Cu Lao Cham Marine Park

Cu Lao Cham Marine Park is a protected marine area in Quang Nam Province consisting of eight small islands with diverse underwater life. The park contains extensive coral reefs and seagrass meadows in the South China Sea.

The islands have been inhabited since the 2nd century when Cham people established settlements and developed sea trade routes. This maritime tradition shaped the character of these islands for centuries.

Island residents continue fishing and nest-gathering practices that remain central to how people here make their living and sustain their families.
