Chenggu Guangdong Huiguan, Historical guildhall in Jinjiang District, China
The Chenggu Guangdong Huiguan contains multiple courtyards and halls designed to accommodate merchants and officials from Guangdong province in Chengdu.
During the Qing Dynasty, this guildhall served as a meeting point for merchants from Guangdong who traveled to Sichuan for trade and commerce.
The building incorporates architectural elements from both Sichuan and Guangdong styles, reflecting the exchange between these two Chinese provinces.
Visitors can access the guildhall through the main entrance on the eastern side, where they find information panels explaining the building's function.
The structure maintains its original layout from the Qing period, with separate areas for accommodation, business meetings, and traditional ceremonies.
