People's Park

People's Park is a public park in central Chengdu featuring artificial lakes, gardens, and teahouses throughout its grounds. The space includes different sections for relaxation and exploration with pathways and seating areas scattered throughout.

The park was established in 1911 and was the first public green space project in Chengdu. These origins show how the city began to develop modern public spaces for its residents.

The Heming Teahouse within the park offers traditional ear cleaning services while guests enjoy their tea. This old craft remains part of everyday life here and attracts both locals and visitors alike.
