Artists have transformed former factory spaces into studios and galleries for their work, while traditional metalworkers continue practicing their craft in neighboring workshops. This blend of contemporary art and traditional craftsmanship shapes how the neighborhood looks and functions every day.

The best way to explore the area is on foot, since the streets are narrow and winding with plenty of galleries and cafes to discover along the way. Visit during daytime hours when artists are working in their studios and most spaces are open to visitors.

Active metal workshops continue their loud, rhythmic work right alongside art galleries, creating an unusual soundscape that defines the place. This coexistence of industrial noise and artistic spaces gives the neighborhood its distinctive sensory experience.
