Soak City, Water park at Kings Island, Mason, US
Soak City is a water park adjacent to Kings Island featuring multiple pools, numerous slides, and different areas designed for visitors of all ages. The grounds offer a variety of water-based attractions where guests can splash, slide, and relax in the water.
The facility opened in 1989 as WaterWorks with a limited selection of attractions that were expanded over the following years. A major redesign in 2012 brought the current name and updated offerings.
This water park is where families and friends gather during warm months to spend time together in the water. Visitors come here to cool off and enjoy summer activities that bring people from the region together.
Admission to this water park is included with a Kings Island ticket, allowing visitors to enjoy both parks during their operating hours. It is wise to wear water-safe shoes or sandals and bring sun protection, as most of the time will be spent exposed to the sun.
Several themed areas offer different water experiences, ranging from thrilling fast-paced slides to calmer family pools. New attractions such as side-by-side racing slides are planned to add even more variety to the experience.
