Bremerbaaistrand

Bremerbaaistrand is a public beach along the Markermeer lake in Dronten with designated swimming and water sports areas. The site has changing rooms, restrooms, and picnic facilities directly by the water.

The beach came into existence through major land reclamation projects in Flevoland during the 20th century that transformed the former Zuiderzee seabed into usable land. These projects created new recreational spaces where local people could swim and enjoy water activities.
