The Fellas

The Fellas is a rooftop restaurant and bar on the 7th floor of the Qianchen building with views over the Bund and Pudong skyline. The wraparound terrace offers sight lines across both sides of the Huangpu River and the shifting light over the city throughout the evening.

The venue originally operated under the name Shen before being rebranded as The Fellas under new management. This shift reflected a change in direction as the new owners introduced their own vision for the space.

The interior draws from 1970s celebrity culture and creates a sophisticated setting that merges Western influences with modern Shanghai dining. Visitors notice how this blend mixes contemporary touches with relaxed spaces designed for social gatherings.

The place opens daily from 5:30 PM and stays open until late on weekends, extending to 2 AM on Saturdays and Sundays. Reservations are recommended and the location is accessible by taxi or public transportation.

The venue hosts weekly themed nights, with Thursday events devoted to women's gatherings that include complimentary drinks. Saturday nights feature house music and attract a different crowd with a different energy.
