České Švýcarsko National Park

The sandstone formations in Bohemian Switzerland National Park create a landscape of towering cliffs, deep gorges, and natural rock bridges across 80 square kilometers.

The park, established in January 2000 as the Czech Republic's fourth national park, borders Saxon Switzerland National Park, forming a protected cross-border natural area.

Traditional wooden and half-timbered houses in villages surrounding the park demonstrate the architectural heritage of Czech and German communities in this region.

Visitors can access numerous marked hiking trails throughout the park, with the main information center located in Krásná Lípa providing maps and guided tour options.

The Pravčická Brána, standing 16 meters high with a 27-meter span, represents the largest natural sandstone arch formation in Europe.
