Concepción Province

Concepción Province is an administrative region in southern Chile's Biobío area, spanning multiple municipalities with diverse landscapes from coastal areas to inland regions. The province played a central role during the Chilean War of Independence, with numerous battles against Spanish forces occurring within its territory from 1810 to 1818. This conflict shaped the region's early national identity significantly.
