Reserva natural estricta San Antonio

San Antonio Strict Nature Reserve is a protected woodland area in Misiones province with extensive Parana pine forests and dense vegetation across its grounds. The site holds numerous plant and animal species characteristic of this particular forest ecosystem found in the region.

The reserve was established in 1990 through official decree to protect threatened forest types in the region. Its creation followed earlier conservation efforts aimed at preserving these distinctive woodlands from logging and environmental damage.
