The Solar do Jambeiro features Portuguese tiles with blue patterns on its south-facing facade, wooden frames with green and red glass details, and cast iron columns.
Portuguese merchant Bento Joaquim Alves Pereira constructed the mansion in 1872, which was later acquired by Danish diplomat Georg Christian Bartholdy in 1892.
The center now hosts visual art exhibitions, seminars, restoration workshops, theatrical performances, and musical events in its restored historic spaces.
The building sits on an 8,633-square-meter landscaped property, offering ample space for exhibitions, private events, and cultural gatherings throughout the year.
The facade includes one of Brazil's most notable 19th-century Portuguese tile collections, complemented by decorated eaves featuring ceramic designs of birds and flowers.
