Museu Antônio Parreiras

Museu Antônio Parreiras is an art museum in Niterói spread across three connected buildings: the artist's former home, working studio, and family residences. A large garden surrounds these structures, providing green space and circulation between the different areas.

The museum opened in 1942 as the first institution in Rio de Janeiro state dedicated to a single artist's work and preservation. Its main building was constructed in 1894 and designed by a prominent architect of that period.
