Ginásio ASCEB

Ginásio ASCEB is a multi-purpose hall in Brasília located in the Asa Sul neighborhood. It has a large court with clear markings and smooth surface, surrounded by seating that allows spectators to watch from various angles, and features an electronic scoreboard and bright lighting for evening events.

The Ginásio da ASCEB has hosted the UniCEUB/BRB/Brasília basketball team since the early 2000s. Its most recent renovation, in the second half of 2012, added a new floating floor, four new floodlights and new shot clocks, and built a locker room for the home team with an ice machine, an immersion bath and a cafeteria. For the 2013/2014 season, a new floating floor and an electronic scoreboard were installed with support from the Ministry of Sport.

The hall belongs to the club of ASCEB, the Associação dos Empregados da Companhia Energética de Brasília, the employees' association of Brasília's energy company. It is the home arena of Cerrado Basquete, which trains its adult squad there and plays NBB regular-season games on the court. The same court has also hosted Liga de Desenvolvimento do Basquete and Liga Sul-Americana fixtures.

The hall sits in block 904 Sul of the SGAS sector, next to Parque da Cidade Dona Sarah Kubitschek, inside the ASCEB club grounds. Seating is limited to 1,100 spectators, so matches of the Cerrado Basquete fill it quickly. Access is through the club, not from the park side.

The hall has hosted games in the Liga de Desenvolvimento do Basquete and the Liga Sul-Americana de Basquete, not only the Brazilian NBB. Its seating capacity of 1,100 is modest, so the arena is used for matches compatible with that size.
