Manahan Stadium

Manahan Stadium is a multi-purpose sports complex in Surakarta with a hybrid grass field surrounded by athletics tracks and seating for up to 35,000 spectators. The larger grounds also include tennis courts, baseball fields, a cycling velodrome, and several gymnasiums.

President Suharto inaugurated the stadium on February 21, 1998, marking a significant moment in Indonesia's sports infrastructure development. The opening reflected the country's growing commitment to national sporting facilities during that era.

The stadium serves as the home venue for Persis Solo football club and draws crowds from across the region during national sporting events. Fans create a vibrant atmosphere on match days, making this place central to local sports life.
